According to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, Google, a division of Alphabet (GOOGL.O), has agreed to pay $8 million to resolve charges that it used misleading marketing to promote the Pixel 4 smartphone.

The federal government and state attorneys general have investigated the search and advertising behemoth for antitrust and consumer protection law violations.

The company also produces Android smartphone software and owns YouTube. The federal government has filed two antitrust cases.

In this case, Paxton’s office claimed that Google employed radio announcers to provide glowing reviews of the Pixel 4 despite the company’s refusal to let them use one of the devices.
