In an interview with Handelsblatt, Prime Minister Daniel Risch said Liechtenstein will accept Bitcoin for some public services.

Risch added in the Sunday interview, “A payment option with Bitcoin is coming,” without specifying a timeline.
Liechtenstein’s finance minister, Risch, stated the government would accept Bitcoin deposits and quickly swap them for Swiss francs.

The prime minister stated he would consider investing state funds in Bitcoin.

The finance ministry told Handelsblatt that the state’s capital market-invested reserves are 2.23 billion Swiss francs ($2.51 billion).

Bitcoin is very hazardous. “This assessment can change,” Risch remarked.
