A representative from the video game producer CD Projekt (CDR.WA), which is the largest video game developer in Poland, announced on Thursday during a livestream on YouTube that the firm will release an update to its flagship game Cyberpunk 2077 on September 21.

The highly-anticipated expansion to Cyberpunk 2077, Phantom Liberty, is scheduled to make its debut on September 26, and the update will go live just a few days before that date.

The update, which will be available for free and is being referred to as Cyberpunk 2077 2.0, will include enhancements to the AI used in combat, vehicle combat and car chases, as well as enhancements to the User Interface and User Experience, as well as modifications to the way police activity is handled in the game.
The updated version of Cyberpunk 2077 will be accessible on personal computers, Xbox Series X|S consoles, and PlayStation 5 systems.

CD Projekt announced in September of the previous year that they had sold 20 million copies of the game.
