Snapchat+ reaches 4 million paid users

The social media company Snap Inc (SNAP.N) announced on Thursday that its subscription service, Snapchat+, has reached 4 million customers since it was first introduced in June last year.

A monthly subscription to Snapchat+ costs $3.99 and grants users access to features unavailable to the general public. According to the firm, premium users were given an early preview of new features and services, such as Snapchat for Web and the company’s AI-powered chatbot, My AI.

My AI developed with the technology developed by the startup OpenAI’s ChatGPT, can assist users with various tasks, like producing poems and looking for information.
