Best Buy’s ‘DoorBOOster’ Sale Brings Early Black Friday Deals on TVs, Apple Devices, Laptops and More

Best Buy is getting ahead of the Black Friday shopping rush with its ‘DoorBOOster’ sale, offering discounts across thousands of products. Despite its Halloween-inspired name, the promotion goes well beyond seasonal items, covering everything from Apple devices and laptops to premium televisions, headphones, kitchen appliances and smart-home products.

After reviewing the current offers, TechRadar retail editor Alex Whitelock has highlighted more than 30 deals worth considering for early holiday shopping.

Among the standout offers are the Google Pixel 11, now $699 instead of $899; Sony WH-1000XM5 noise-cancelling headphones for $198, down from $398; and the 65-inch LG C6 OLED TV, reduced to $1,399.99 from $2,699.99.

The sale is scheduled to end on Sunday, although Best Buy is expected to introduce more early Black Friday promotions in the weeks ahead.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook is an affordable option at $289, with a MediaTek Kompanio 540 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The IdeaPad Slim 3i, meanwhile, offers an Intel Core 5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for $429.99.

For users looking for a more capable everyday laptop, the HP OmniBook 3 comes with a 14-inch display, Snapdragon X processor, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. HP claims battery life of up to 41 hours.

The 14-inch HP OmniBook X Flip is another option, featuring an AMD Ryzen AI 5 processor, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage and a 2K OLED screen. The larger 16-inch version upgrades to an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and 1TB of storage.

Apple’s latest MacBook Air with the M5 chip is available for $1,149. It includes a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The 14-inch MacBook Pro M5, priced at $1,849, offers 1TB of storage and up to 18 hours of battery life.

Gaming buyers can also consider the Asus TUF Gaming A16. Its specifications include an RTX 5070 graphics card, AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Television Deals

The TV selection ranges from affordable 4K smart televisions to high-end OLED and Micro RGB models.

The Insignia F50 is a budget-friendly 55-inch 4K television with Fire TV software and hands-free Alexa controls. Samsung’s 50-inch U8000H offers Crystal UHD processing, HDR support and the Tizen smart TV platform for $229.99.

For a larger screen at a relatively low price, the Toshiba C350 offers a 75-inch 4K display for $399.99, with HDR support and access to streaming services through Fire TV.

The TCL QM6K is aimed at buyers who want better picture quality and gaming performance without paying premium-TV prices. It combines Mini-LED technology with 4K resolution and 120Hz refresh-rate support.

The Hisense U7 adds a QLED panel and 165Hz refresh-rate support, making it suitable for films, sports and gaming. At the premium end, LG’s C6 OLED features an Alpha 11 AI processor, while Samsung’s R85H uses Micro RGB LED technology and supports 144Hz refresh rates and variable refresh rate.

LG’s 77-inch G6 is the most expensive television in this selection. It features a Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 OLED panel, an Alpha 11 AI Gen 3 processor and four HDMI 2.1 ports.

The JBL Charge 6 is available for $149.95. It offers powerful sound in a portable design and received five stars from TechRadar.

The Apple iPad A16 has reached its lowest reported price at Best Buy, falling to $399. It includes an A16 chip, 128GB of standard storage, an 11-inch Liquid Retina display and 12MP front and rear cameras.

The 11-inch iPad Air with the M4 chip is now $649. It offers a balance of performance and price, with a Liquid Retina display and True Tone support for different lighting conditions.

Google’s Pixel 11 is also available for $699, saving buyers $200. The phone features Google’s latest Tensor chipset and the new HiLight feature.

Apple’s iPhone Air has dropped to $799.99. Measuring just 5.6mm thick, it features an A19 Pro processor and a 6.5-inch display. Its battery life is less impressive than some alternatives, but it offers flagship-level everyday performance in a particularly slim design.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is discounted by $200 to $1,899.99. The foldable was awarded 4.5 stars in TechRadar’s review, which praised its thin design, fast performance and camera system.

Finally, Apple’s second-generation AirTag four-pack is listed at $69. The tracking devices can be attached to items such as luggage and backpacks and located using an iPhone.
