Although the upcoming iPhone 12 range seems quite promising, two disappointing rumors have come, which are a missing feature and the delay of weeks or more.
Ross Young is the CEO of Supply Chain Digital Consultants. He stated that none of the iPhone 12 models is going to have a 20 Hz screen.
We were hearing rumors that the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are likely going to have a 120 Hz refresh rate, a feature that would help them to match with Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and One Plus 8 Pro.
However, we think that the feature wouldn’t come until 2021. In a tweet, Ross said that “we asked several insiders and all of them said no ” to a 120 Hz display on the iPhone models.
Of course, this is just a rumor right now, however, Young is quite confident of the information, so we would have to wait a bit more for a 120 Hz phone.
We might have to wait a bit more than we thought than any of the iPhones. Nikki Asia Reviews claims that there is a delay of around two months for the production of iPhone 12 range. This is mainly due to the problems of COVID-19.
However, Apple is trying its best to reduce the delays and will ship the phones this year. In fact, Apple will remain close to the intended September release date. So, there won’t be much delay, and we might see the iPhone 12 range in September.
Nikkei Asia Review is also discussing the 5G iPhone models. However, we recently heard that there might be two 4G models. So, the 4G mobiles are quite further in their production.
In any case, we will have to wait until September to hear the official news. Moreover, we might have to wait for even more for their market release. We might still get just the 60Hz screens.
