LG has revealed the price of LG Wing 5G and will be available for pre-order for the US buyers on 1st October for &$999.
A credible source leaked the $1000 price range back in August. However, today’s confirmation proved a relief for many bank accounts. Currently, we don’t know when the Wing will be available for the non-US Markets.
No one knows when the AT&T and T-Mobile Versions will come out, however, they are expected later this fall. The Verizon version runs on the company’s mmWave tech. However, it isn’t clear whether the alternative versions will be cheaper. Currently, we are assuming identical prices across the board.
The phone also features a 6.8-inch OLED panel and a second 3.9-inch mini display. The second screen remains covered with you until you move the main screen off of it. Moreover, the mobile has a Snapdragon 765G processor with 8GB of RAM and a 4000 mAh battery. It also has three rear cameras, a main 64MP camera, a second 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a third 13MP ultra-wide camera, just for the Gimbal mode.
The main purpose of the mini-screen design is to let you respond to texts or Google search information without interrupting whatever you are watching on the main screen. However, the advantages don’t stop there.
LG Wing 5G has also introduced a unique Gimbal feature. It lets you grip the smaller screen and use stimulated Gimbal controls to move the main screen as you shoot a video. Moreover, it also has a Dual Recording feature which lets you Livestream in front of you and behind you simultaneously. This could be the future of selfie videos for social media.
The hinge can withstand 200,000 swivels, so it’s quite safe. It also works great with a single screen. Moreover, the dual-screen is a bit thin and difficult to hold. This makes the single screen of LG Wing more ideal for activities, like casual browsing and gaming.
