Nintendo has officially announced key details about the Switch 2, including its release date, pricing, upgraded hardware, and new game lineup. The next-generation hybrid console will launch on June 5, 2025, with a starting price of $449.99.

Nintendo has confirmed multiple pricing tiers for the Switch 2:

  • Standard Edition$449.99

  • Mario Kart World Bundle$499.99

  • Regional Pricing:

    • UK: £395.99

    • Germany: €469.99

Preorder Dates

  • April 8th – Preorders open in Europe

  • April 9th – Preorders open in North America
