T-Mobile will give free MLB.TV memberships until 2028. The carrier stated on its webpage that it had renewed its collaboration with Major League Baseball, providing consumers with free baseball games each season.

For eight years, T-Mobile has given consumers MLB—TV, which costs $149.99 annually. The service streams out-of-market home and away games, plus before and postgame programming. In addition, you can watch in-market games on-demand after they air on iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, and PlayStation.

T-Mobile also announced a partnership with the MLB to test an automated ball-strike system (ABS) powered by its own 5G network at Minor League games. T-Mobile said the private network should securely transfer real-time ABS video and data to prevent signal interference via devices and the ABS application.

Regrettably, T-MLB.TV Mobile’s free enrollment period expired this year. If you’re still a T-Mobile user after six years, you’ll get another chance to subscribe. Unfortunately, Apple TV Plus will not provide free Friday Night Baseball games this year. Watching weekly games now needs a $6.99 Apple TV Plus membership.

YouTube TV dropping MLB Network due to carriage disagreement doesn’t help either. The YES Network provides a membership to watch New York Yankees, Brooklyn Nets, and New York Liberty games, but only in its “regional coverage zone.”
