Trailer For Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Reveals New Characters

A new trailer for the upcoming newest installment of the Marvel vs. Capcom
series of games, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, revealed new characters for the game,
the game trailer is known as the full story trailer. In a previous trailer shown for the
game, the story starts off with Ultron Sigma alongside flashes of other villains and
the screen cuts to a giant monster infected with the symbiote virus, attacks a team of
heroes consisting of Spider-Man and a few unknown heroes, until Ghost Rider and
Morrigan come to their aid and Jedah descends to confront them.

The new trailer reveals more characters and starts off with Doctor Strange briefing them on the Infinity Stones, which are what Ultron is after which leads to a large fight between
the Marvel and Capcom heroes and villains. However, deciding how to deal with
Ultron leads to a split between the heroes with the two Marvel heroes Captain
America and Iron at the forefront on the edge of a civil war within the heroes
alliance. The trailer does not show any actual gameplay but does reveal some well
known Marvel characters such as Ghost Rider and Dormammu, these characters had
been previously confirmed to be in the game but there had been no depiction of
them in the previous trailer. The game also showed the returning of fan favorites
such as Megaman, Zero, Chun-Li, and SpiderMan along with a glimpse of his black
venom suit.

New details regarding characters such as Ghost Rider, Dormammu,
Firebrand, and Jedah are set to be revealed as part of next week’s Gamescom. The
four newly shown characters bring the roster for the game up to 30 characters and
Capcom has confirmed that these characters will be included in the game at launch.
Capcom has also stated that more characters are also going to be added following
the game’s release. Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is set to be released on September 19 th
2017 and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, the game will also
have modes such as story mode, arcade mode, mission mode, training mode, vs.
player 2/CPU mode, collection, and online match mode which will feature, ranked
matches, casual matches, beginners league, lobby, rankings, and replay
settings/mode. More details regarding the game’s characters, story, and game
modes will be revealed as the year progresses, and with the previous installments of
the game having been huge successes this new game is sure to be one too. Happy
