Hellblade is an action-adventure game that follows the story of Senua, the main character. She is a badass who struggles with mental health issues, which she thinks is a curse. In the previous game, Senua goes to Helheim to rescue the soul of Dillion, his dead lover. During her quest, she battles her mental problems and the undead warriors.
It’s been almost three years since the previous installation of the game. So, gamers are ready for another epic adventure. Here we have gathered everything that we know about Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2.
Senua’s Saga has a breathtaking trailer. The announcement told us that it is coming on Xbox Series X and PC. We know that the new Xbox isn’t going to release until the end of 2020, sometime between October and December. Thus, the Hellblade 2 will arrive after this date. It’s one of the first confirmed games for Xbox Series X. We are sure that it will release a few months after the Xbox. Thus, Hellblade 2 will come out at the end of December 2020 or the start of 2021.
The company released the trailer at the Game Awards 2019. The trailer doesn’t give anything away for the gamers. You will have to play the game to know the story. The thing that makes the trailer quite amazing is that it was made for the new Xbox. You can watch the Hellblade 2 trailer on YouTube.
Although the trailer doesn’t give away the story, it seems that it will be much darker than the previous installment. The trailer shows amazing landscapes, battle sequences, and pagan rituals. There is also an indication of Vikings, which makes sense due to the period. However, it’s merely a supposition.
Ninja Theory has claimed that Hellblade 2 trailer is made in-engine on the Xbox Series X. Thus, we would see these kinds of rituals in-game on Xbox Series X. However, Digital Foundry suggests that this might not be the case.
