PlayStation’s E3 conference did not include the announcement of Bloodborne 2 but fans are still hopeful for its announcement at a later time in the year. Bloodborne is a role-playing game where players are able to customize and play as a Hunter who journeys through a Gothic, Victorian era seeking what’s known as Plaeblood for an unknown reason, was hoped for by fans to have it’s sequel announced at Sony’s conference at E3, but unfortunately the game along with rumored The Last of Us 2 were not announced.
Apparently, the reason for the games not being announced is due to game development company Naughty Dogs new DLC adventure for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Sony’s E3 conference has been reported to be surprisingly short, leaving many fans in confusion but president of Sony’s Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida stated that Sony did indeed hold back big reveals as well as specific release dates during the press conference and will reveal them as the year progresses, “Because we announced a lot of release dates for games that we had to apologize for pushing back in the past, we got together and discussed this seriously. Because PS4 games are so big and all the teams, even veteran teams making games for the past 10 years, still miscalculate how much work is done at the end of the development; polishing and debugging, for example. So we agreed to not announce release dates until very, very, very, very close to the release date.”
When asked if any games were planned to be released for Sony’s second video game conference The PlayStation Experience or Japan’s Tokyo Game Show, Yoshida responded that though they have no plans to divulge any information about the upcoming shows there are things that they have not revealed but will reveal later in the year and will even have an eSports segment. Sony’s PlayStation Experience otherwise known as PSX is an annual event exclusively by Sony where they show off new applications, services, news and new titles for their PlayStation consoles the event is set to be held in Anaheim, California and will be held on December 9th and 10th 2017, hopefully gamers will see Bloodborne 2 as well as the other PS4 game titles they didn’t see at E3 as well s any other applications and new services Sony has been withholding!
