Ex-CEO Parag Agrawal, ex-legal head Vijaya Gadde, and ex-CFO Ned Segal have sued Twitter for legal reimbursements.
Twitter was sued in Delaware Chancery Court for nearly $1 million in legal fees expended by former executives to reply to DOJ and SEC demands.
The lawsuit requests an expedited judgment ordering Defendant to advance legal costs and expenditures related to ongoing litigation and investigations.
According to the paper, these executives were defendants in several lawsuits and government investigations. In addition, the paper stated that the plaintiffs repeatedly requested compensation from Twitter but only received acknowledgment receipts.
The complaint claims Twitter “breached the agreements [with workers] and contravened the rules” by not compensating former employees.
Last October, Elon Musk dismissed Agrawal, Gadde, and Segal. Bloomberg reported a $100 million parting deal for these executives.
Once Musk bought Twitter, many lawsuits were filed. Former workers and contractors allege the corporation sacked them without warning, and multiple vendors accuse the company of not paying invoices on schedule.
Germany is suing Twitter for failing to delete hate comments. Companies who break the NetzDG might be fined €50 million.
Twitter lost James Baker in December and Christian Dowell earlier this month, along with Gadde.
