On Wednesday, Google launched two new AI-powered advertising solutions that will automatically find the best ad placements for businesses across its platforms.

Demand Gen will use AI to place photo and video ads in Gmail, YouTube, and Shorts, YouTube’s TikTok competitor.
Vidhya Srinivasan, Google’s vice president, and general manager of advertising, said AI would find “shiny, visual and immersive” ads without marketers’ input.
