It’s that time of the month again for all you PlayStation Plus members out there! Yes, it’s time for all of you to receive your free games because of your paid subscription to PlayStation Plus. For those of you who are unaware, PlayStation Plus is the paid subscription service that allows PlayStation users to use the online features of their gaming systems such as playing their games online with other players around the world, use various video streaming applications such as YouTube, Crunchyroll, Netflix, Twitch and various others and even surf the internet so long as the system is connected to a stable Wi-Fi connection or Ethernet cord.
Each month, the subscribers are given a set of free games to choose from which will be available on their PlayStation 3 (PS3), PlayStation 4 (PS4) or PlayStation Vita consoles, with each month having a different set of games to choose from. This month’s line up consists of Killing Floor 2 (PS4), Life Is Strange (PS4), Abyss Odyssey (PS3), WRC 5: World Rally Championship (PS3), Neon Chrome (PlayStation Vita with PS4 crossbuy), and Spy Chameleon (PlayStation Vita with PS4 crossbuy).
Killing Floor 2 is a first person shooter game where up to six players can battle against hordes of “Zeds” (zombie like creatures) in a post apocalyptic world, the first person shooter can prove to be fun for those who enjoy other popular shooters and zombie fantasy games such as Call of Duty, Resident Evil, and Battlefield. The next game on the list, Life is Strange centers around a teenage girl named Max who lives an ordinary life as an art major at college but her whole life changes when she discovers she has the ability to rewind time and even see into the future. Players gain the opportunity to use Max’s powers to uncover mysteries surrounding her school, the purpose of her powers, and the fate of her town and her best friend Chloe.
The next game is Abyss Odyssey a simple game where the player is able to control avatars and fight their way through dungeons, WRC 5: World Rally Championship is racing game where players are able to pick their favorite racecars and race in the 2015 FIA World Rally Championship, Neon Chrome is a topdown shooter game where players can battle in a maze to be the last one standing, and finally Spy Chameleon is an arcade puzzle game where players play as a chameleon spy uses his color changing ability to make his way through every level without by spotted.
