The world’s favorite web slinging hero and his famous “spider-sense” ability are going to be making an appearance in infinity war. Marvel’s new SpiderMan movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming has left Marvel fans with wondering if SpiderMan’s famous “spider-sense” ability (which alerts him whenever danger is near) will make an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War. A clip released at Disney’s D23 Expo for the upcoming movie has provided the answer.
The clip shows the Guardians of the Galaxy first meeting up with the Avengers, after Thor crashes into the windshield of their spaceship, the scene then cuts to Wanda (Magneto’s daughter), dodging some sort of white energy blast as it breaks apart a truck. Viewers saw Loki presenting the Tesseract (a small containment cube) to an unknown person and fans finally received their confirmation as Peter’s Spider-Sense begins to alert him while he is riding a bus.
However, the clip does not stop there, it shows Tony Stark AKA Iron Man preparing for battle alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy, viewers heard Thanos stating “Fun really isn’t something one considers when balancing the universe, this does put a smile on my face.” Gamora is shown with a terrified look on her face, as the Guardians see destruction and ruin across the Earth and the cosmos, Thanos warps himself into a new world and Star-Lord, Doctor Strange, and SpiderMan in his new suit battle him.
On Earth viewers are shown the Winter Soldier battling, Wakanda defending her territory, Captain America appears bearded and with long hair. The Hulkbuster fights, Black Panther fights a four legged creature, and elsewhere Thor, Iron Man, and the Guardians are all defeated by Thanos, the final image shown is Thanos assembling the Infinity Guantlet and taunts the Avengers before an image of him clutching the Earth in his grasp and releasing energy from the hole created from the debris is shown. Spider-Man’s Spider-Sense isn’t the only thing revealed for Spider-Man. Peter is given a new suit by Iron Man in Spider-Man: Homecoming however, he does not get to use it in the film much to the disappointment of fans, but from what was shown in the exclusive preview to the movie Spider-Man will be using his new suit to battle Thanos. Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War is set to be released in theaters May 4th 2018, Marvel fans will finally be able to see the Avengers take on the universe’s greatest threat, Thanos.
