According to information provided on the company’s website, Tesla Inc. (TSLA.O) increased the price of its Model Y electric vehicle in the United States on Tuesday.
The website displayed that the variant’s price increased by $250, bringing it to $47,740, while the prices of the other versions remained the same in the United States.
Since April 19th, Tesla has implemented three price increases for the Model Y.

Since January, Tesla has been decreasing prices across the globe to increase sales. Elon Musk, the company’s CEO, stated that the business would reduce profit margins to increase sales volume and raise prices wherever feasible.
Even after the price increase on Tuesday, Model Y’s pricing is 4.5% less than before April’s price drop.
