Berkshire Hathaway sells $86.3 million worth of BYD shares.

According to a filing with the stock exchange, the investment firm Berkshire Hathaway, which Warren Buffett owns, has sold 2.53 million Hong Kong-listed shares of the electric vehicle manufacturer BYD (002594. SZ) for a total of HK$675.80 million ($86.3 million).

According to a filing made with the Hong Kong stock exchange on Monday, Berkshire’s holdings in BYD’s issued H-shares dropped from 9.21% to 8.98% due to the sale on June 19.
