We have heard for some time that the basic iPhone 12 is going to have a 5.4-inch touchscreen, and this latest leak gives us some idea of how small it could make the entire handset.

A user of Mac Rumors forums dubbed iZac got a dummy unit of phone. It showed how it is similar to the Original iPhone SE and iPhone 7.

The overall size of the phone is somewhere in between the two. The iPhone SE will be a bit smaller, and the iPhone 7 will be slightly larger. This is despite the fact that the iPhone 7 is going to have a small 4.7-inch touchscreen. On the other hand, the iPhone SE is slightly smaller with 4.0 inches size.
The source of the leak states that the iPhone 12 dummy is going to be 6mm wider than iPhone SE and 3mm narrower than iPhone 7. Moreover, it feels a bit of a stretch.to use the iPhone SE, however, it feels slightly more manageable than the iPhone 7.

So if this dummy unit is correct, then it will be a bit similar to the iPhone 12. Moreover, it will be a great option for people looking to use the phone with one hand, especially people with smaller hands and those who like compact phones.

That’s notable because many small sets aren’t sold anymore. Apple recently launched the 4.7 inch iPhone SE, however, it’s more of a mid-ranger. Moreover, it has similar dimensions to the iPhone 7, so the iPhone 12 might be smaller than that phone too.

We would take this with a heavy heart because the dummy unit is based on rumors and leaks. We will know how small it is in September because Apple will release the iPhone 12 range at that time. However, the company might delay its launch.
