Amazon sells the excellent M2-powered Mac Mini with 512GB of storage for $689.99. The tiny desktop saves $110, making it a great choice for anybody who needs a basic home computer. The M2 Mac Mini looks like most others but has the same chipset as the current MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro.
The Mini also has two USB-A connections, an ethernet port, and an HDMI connector, and it’s far cheaper than other laptops. It includes the same eight-core CPU and 10-core GPU as the basic setup, but the significantly larger 512GB of storage makes things easier before you need extra storage.
BYO monitor, keyboard, and mouse. If you don’t need those peripherals, this offer is great.
If you want a cellular-equipped iPad Pro and don’t mind a last-gen device, Best Buy has big sale savings on the 12.9-inch M1 iPad Pro. The 256GB model with Wi-Fi and LTE cellular costs $999.99 ($400 off), the 512GB model costs $1,099.99 ($500 off), the 1TB model costs $1,299.99 ($700 off), and the top-of-the-line 2TB model costs $1,599.99 ($800 off).
M1-powered iPad Pros are identical to M2 devices and a better buy now. Like the newer model, the 2021 12.9-inch iPad Pro sports a great Mini LED display and a speedy M1 chip. Just the second-gen Apple Pencil’s hover capability is absent. These fantastic iPads are great laptop replacements, especially since their LTE connections offer them an edge over similar MacBooks.
