Love is in the air with Blancpain’s Valentine’s Day limited edition watch

Valentine’s Day 2026 is just around the corner, and Blancpain has once again marked the occasion with a dedicated women’s timepiece. Now in its 26th year of producing a Valentine-inspired watch, the brand has unveiled the new Villeret Saint-Valentin — an ultra-exclusive release that will be almost impossible to secure.

The Blancpain Villeret Saint-Valentin reflects the brand’s long-standing commitment to women’s watchmaking, a history that stretches back to the 1930s. Blancpain was among the first manufacturers to treat women’s watches as serious mechanical creations rather than jewellery alone, introducing what was then the smallest round mechanical movement in 1956.

That philosophy continues today through the Villeret collection, which places technical excellence at the heart of its designs while still embracing elegance and refinement. For 2026, the Villeret Saint-Valentin blends delicate aesthetics with impressive watchmaking credentials.

Measuring just 21.5mm, the watch features a white gold case with a diamond-set bezel. A single heart-shaped diamond sits at 12 o’clock, serving as the only hour marker on an otherwise pared-back dial, complemented solely by hour and minute hands.

While the layout is minimal, the dial itself is anything but ordinary. Crafted from nacre perlée — one of the rarest and most delicate forms of mother-of-pearl — it is cut from the curved portion of the shell. The result is a softly undulating surface that catches and reflects the light beautifully.

Inside, the watch is powered by Blancpain’s Manufacture Calibre 615 automatic movement, visible through the sapphire case back. Measuring just 15.70mm in diameter, the movement is exceptionally compact and offers a 38-hour power reserve. In keeping with the Valentine’s theme, the oscillating weight is engraved with a heart motif.

Completing the romantic design is a Chérie red alligator leather strap. Production is limited to just 14 pieces, a nod to Valentine’s Day falling on 14 February. The Blancpain Villeret Saint-Valentin is available now, priced at £19,800.
