On Monday, Joe Benarroch, a former executive at NBCUniversal, will begin working for Twitter in a job focused on the company’s business operations, as he confirmed to Reuters.

In an email, Benarroch expressed his enthusiasm for collaborating with the firm’s staff to “build Twitter 2.0 together.”

Thank you for joining us, @benarroch_joe! Twitter’s newly appointed CEO, Linda Yaccarino, tweeted, “From one bird to the next,” referring to the company’s mascot. But, unfortunately, she omitted details about Benarroch’s new role.

Benarroch supervised communication strategy for NBCUniversal’s Advertising and Partnerships business at Comcast Corp (CMCSA.O), reporting to Yaccarino, the former head of advertising at NBCUniversal, who has since joined Twitter.

Yaccarino now has more on his plate with the departure of several executives and the appointment of Benarroch. In addition, Ella Irwin, Twitter’s head of trust and safety, announced her resignation on Thursday.

Reuters reported on Friday that A.J. Brown, responsible for ensuring that advertisements did not violate brand policies, had resigned. On Sunday, the Wall Street Journal was the first to reveal Benarroch’s hiring.
