We could have the release of the Apple Watch 6 at some time this year. Let’s hope that the coronavirus doesn’t postpone its launch. Moreover, a new rumor suggests that it will bring top features, like sleep tracking, touch ID, and blood oxygen level monitoring.
These rumors are according to the Israeli site, The Verifier, and the YouTube channel iupdate. However, these aren’t the best sources regarding the Apple leaks. Therefore, we shouldn’t fully trust these sources.
You should know that the blood oxygen saturation monitoring has been discussed for the next Apple Watch in addition to sleep tracking. We detected these features in the iOS 14 code, and they will be a part of the next Apple watch.
The touch ID on Apple’s watch might be a bit unexpected. However, Apple’s patents have explored this idea before. Currently, we don’t know whether the fingerprint reader would be present on the digital crown or the watch screen.
There are also more rumors related to the Apple watch. Moreover, the inside sources from the Verifier shared some tidbits too. There isn’t going to be any change in the shape of the watch soon. Thus, we should not expect a circular model any time soon.
The demands of watchOS7 are too much for the Apple Watch Series 2. Apple supports the products with software updates for five years. However, the rumor is that Series 2 is going to get dropped off this time.
The other information that we get from the leak is that the watchOS7 will be a big upgrade. However, we do not precisely know what that big update is referring to. Still, we consider blood oxygen monitoring, touch ID, and sleep tracking to qualify as significant upgrades.
The health and fitness features are the main selling points for the Apple Watch Series. We will see more of this functionality with time.
