Apple gives minority-owned startups $25 million.

Apple (AAPL.O) announced Wednesday that it will invest $25 million in three minority-owned enterprise funds.

The internet behemoth gave $50 million to varied startups through Collab Capital, Harlem Capital, and VamosVentures.

This statement comes more than two years after the Cupertino, California-based corporation began investing in minority-owned startups.

After the 2020 murder of George Floyd sparked a global conversation about racism, corporate America pledged to promote racial justice projects.
