Residents and businesses in Jere, Kaga, Konduga and Maiduguri Local Government Areas may experience temporary interruptions to voice calls, mobile data, SMS and other services that depend on the network during the maintenance window.

The planned work will affect 2G, 3G and 4G services, as well as selected enterprise services.

MTN said normal network operations are expected to resume immediately after the maintenance is completed.

The company explained that the exercise forms part of its ongoing efforts to maintain and strengthen critical network infrastructure, with the aim of delivering a more stable and reliable telecommunications experience for individuals and businesses.

MTN Nigeria apologised for any inconvenience the temporary disruption may cause and thanked customers for their patience and understanding.
