The Oppo Find X10 delivers flagship-grade cameras, excellent performance, a superb display and outstanding battery life. But its high price, familiar iPhone-inspired design and frustrating pre-installed apps stop it from being a perfect package.
Verdict
The Oppo Find X10 is an excellent flagship smartphone, particularly for photography. Its powerful hardware, smooth software experience and enormous battery make it a pleasure to use. The three rear cameras deliver impressive detail, while the compact-for-a-flagship display offers sharp visuals and vibrant colors.
However, the phone comes with a premium price tag, limited availability and an unwelcome amount of pre-installed software. Its design is also heavily inspired by Apple’s iPhone range.
Despite those shortcomings, the Find X10 feels much more like a Pro model than a conventional entry-level flagship.

Price and availability
The Oppo Find X10 costs £1,099 and comes in one configuration with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is not available in the US, while Australian availability and pricing were yet to be confirmed at the time of review.
That price represents a £200 increase over the standard Find X9, bringing the Find X10 in line with the launch price of the previous Find X9 Pro. It also means buyers get less memory and storage than the older Pro model, which offered 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Oppo does offer some incentives when purchasing directly from its website: buyers can choose a Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit or an Oppo Watch X3 at no extra cost. The phone also comes with an 80W SuperVOOC charger and a color-matched silicone case in the box, alongside a pre-installed screen protector.
The price is undeniably high, but the Find X10 makes a stronger case for itself when viewed as a premium flagship rather than a basic model.

Design: Elegant, but familiar
The Find X10 looks remarkably similar to Apple’s iPhone Pro models. Its aluminum frame, glass back and raised camera platform make it one of Oppo’s most iPhone-like designs to date.
That lack of originality does not mean the phone is poorly made. Quite the opposite: it feels sturdy and refined, with precise construction and an elegant finish. The camera platform, in particular, is neatly integrated into the single-piece glass rear panel.
The phone is available in three colors:
-
Glacier Blue
-
Glow Coral
-
Mist Grey
Oppo includes a color-matched silicone case and pre-installed screen protector, offering some protection straight out of the box. The device also carries IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings, providing substantial resistance to dust and water.
Its physical controls include a standard power button, volume rocker and the Snap Key, Oppo’s equivalent of Apple’s Action Button. The Snap Key can activate Mind Space by default, but users can configure it as a camera shortcut or flashlight button.
A USB-C port with USB 3.2 Gen 1 support enables file transfers at up to 10Gbps. The built-in speaker is another highlight, producing a surprisingly rich sound with plenty of bass and depth.
Design score: 4/5
Display: Sharp, bright and immersive
The Find X10 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2768 × 1272 pixels and a pixel density of 460ppi.
Although it is smaller than the 6.78-inch screens found on the Find X10 Pro Max and Find X9 Pro, the difference is modest. The smaller size makes the phone more comfortable to handle without sacrificing much screen space.
The panel offers:
-
Typical brightness of 800 nits
-
High-brightness mode reaching 2,000 nits
-
Peak HDR brightness of 3,600 nits
-
Adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz
-
Up to 144Hz in certain games
-
Uniform 1.15mm bezels
In everyday use, the display remained legible indoors and outdoors, with vibrant colors and deep blacks. Its thin bezels make the screen feel larger than its measurements suggest, while the adaptive refresh rate keeps scrolling and animations smooth.
Color profiles let users choose between vivid, warmer, cooler and more muted presentations. The reviewer preferred the vivid setting for its richer colors.
Whether watching videos, gaming or browsing, the Find X10’s display is a major strength.
Display score: 5/5
Cameras: A standout feature
The camera system is arguably the Find X10’s biggest selling point. It combines two 200MP sensors with a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP selfie camera.
The rear setup consists of:
-
200MP main camera
-
50MP ultra-wide camera
-
200MP telephoto camera with 2.8x optical zoom
Images are sharp, colorful and detailed, with more restrained image processing than the reviewer observed on previous-generation Oppo phones. Across the three rear cameras, colors and sharpness remain relatively consistent, making it easier to switch lenses without a dramatic change in image quality.
The main and telephoto cameras are particularly impressive. Both capture excellent detail, including in low-light conditions. Automatic long-exposure processing can also produce strong results at night, although neither camera can completely overcome extremely dark scenes.
The ultra-wide camera uses a smaller 50MP sensor, but performs well in daylight and remains serviceable in darker conditions.
By default, photos are pixel-binned into 26MP JPEGs. Users can also shoot JPEG-XL or RAW files at the sensors’ native resolutions. The high-resolution telephoto camera allows lossless cropping, with the review highlighting 12MP images at high zoom levels.
Buyers can also choose the optional Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit, which attaches a zoom lens to the telephoto camera and increases the base zoom to 10x. The reviewer did not test this accessory with the Find X10, though they had used the previous generation with the Find X9 Pro.
One omission is the Quick Button, a dedicated camera control included on some earlier Oppo flagships. The reviewer missed the convenience of using it to control photography and zoom, but its absence does not significantly undermine the otherwise excellent camera experience.
Camera score: 5/5
Software: Smooth, but let down by bloatware
The Find X10 runs Android 17 with Oppo’s ColorOS 17 interface.
ColorOS is fast, fluid and visually polished. Its animations feel responsive, and Oppo’s parallel animation processing helps keep individual interface movements smooth even when multiple things are happening on screen. Features such as Smart Sidebar provide quick access to apps and files.
However, the interface borrows heavily from Apple’s software design. Its Control Center-style menus and translucent effects will appeal to people who like iOS but prefer Android, though those seeking a distinctive Android experience may find it unoriginal.
The bigger problem is bloatware. The reviewer found apps such as TEMU, ChatGPT, BIGO LIVE and Booking.com pre-installed on the device. Although these apps can be removed, their presence on a £1,099 phone is difficult to justify.
The phone also includes several AI features. Its Snap Key launches Mind Space by default, a tool that collects screenshots, notes and reminders in a searchable, organized database. Other capabilities include Circle to Search, image-generation tools, audio transcription and Gemini features.
ColorOS is an enjoyable Android experience once unnecessary apps have been removed, but Oppo needs to be more restrained with its software installations.
Software score: 3/5
Performance: Fast in everyday use
The Find X10 delivers reliable performance across multitasking, gaming and productivity.
Although its benchmark results place it around the middle of the flagship pack, the reviewer found it difficult to slow the phone down in real-world use. Multiple open apps and demanding graphics settings in Call of Duty: Mobile did not cause noticeable stuttering.
The review reports the following benchmark results:
| Benchmark | Score |
|---|---|
| Geekbench 7 single-core | 2,466 |
| Geekbench 7 multi-core | 7,759 |
| Geekbench AI quantized | 3,119 |
The reviewer notes that some competing flagship phones offer faster processors and 16GB of RAM, which could benefit demanding workloads and on-device AI. Nevertheless, the Find X10 handles everyday tasks comfortably.
Clear call quality and excellent haptics further contribute to a polished user experience.
Performance score: 4/5
Battery: Exceptional endurance
Battery life is another major advantage, although capacity varies by region.
-
Asia-Pacific: 8,000mAh
-
Europe and other regions: 7,150mAh
-
Wired charging: Up to 80W
-
Wireless charging: Up to 50W
The reviewer’s test unit featured the larger 8,000mAh battery. It comfortably lasted a full day, often reaching a day and a half or two days of use. With lighter usage, the reviewer believed three days might be possible.
The European version has a smaller battery, but its 7,150mAh capacity is still substantial by smartphone standards. The reviewer did not test that variant directly, so its real-world endurance was not independently established in this review.
Oppo uses silicon-carbon battery technology to achieve these large capacities. The technology offers clear advantages for people who want long battery life, although the reviewer notes that questions remain about its long-term durability compared with conventional lithium-ion batteries.
Charging is quick, too. The bundled 80W SuperVOOC charger took approximately 75 minutes to charge the review unit from empty to full. Although the large battery means it is not necessarily the fastest phone to recharge, even a partial charge provides considerable capacity.
Battery score: 5/5
