The new iPad Pro tablets in 2020 are well behind schedule. The previous generation of the iPad came back in 2018. Thus, we were expecting the next launch in 2019; however, that didn’t happen. So, instead of the iPad Pro 2019, we have the iPad Pro 2020.
There are a lot of rumors and leaks surrounding the new iPad. It might be one of the top-end iPads. Apple’s iPad Pro slates have unique hardware, and each year it gets better. Thus, the iPad 2020 will be far better than the 2018 models.
Apple released terrific products in 2019, like the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. The company also introduced the entry-level iPad 10.2 and Apple Watch 5.
Compared to the iPhone 12, there aren’t many leaks related to the iPad models. However, the leaks are enough to paint a pretty picture. We think that the new slates will be Apple’s best iPads so far. We also expect that the company will introduce two different models, like the 2018’s iPad Pro 12.9 and iPad Pro 11.

Let’s look at the latest leaks and rumors regarding the new iPad Pro 2020.
Price and Release:
There were talks that the new iPad will release in 2019; however, that didn’t happen. Even the 2019 Christmas came and went, and we didn’t hear anything about the iPad.
As to the time when the new iPad will come out, a source suggests that it will come out in March 2020. Another source has said that it will out during the first half of 2020. We have also heard this claim from Ming-Chi Kuo, who is a famous Apple analyst. So, this rumor is plausible.
The same rumor has also said that another iPad Pro could come at the end of 2020. So, Apple might release two iPads in 2020. Of course, these are just rumors, and there is no official confirmation from Apple.
The price of the iPads is the most upsetting thing about iPad devices. Their price is always among the high-end gadgets. We don’t expect this to change for the new iPad Pro.
The current iPad Pro costs $799 with the least storage space, which is 64GB. However, the 1TB capacity iPad Pro 2018 costs $1,549. Moreover, the iPad Pro 12.9 ranges from $999 to $1,899. So, iPad Pro 2020 is going to cost higher than this.
News and Rumors:
The main leak for the iPad 2020 is a photo of the back of the dummy unit, with three cameras. This would be a significant upgrade as the current iPad features only one rear lens. Currently, we don’t know about the camera specs.
We also think that the company would mainly focus on the front-facing camera instead of the rear ones. The reason is that most people use mobile phones to take pictures from the rear camera. However, the front-facing camera is mostly used for selfies and video calling.
Another source claims that the iPad Pro would have a 3D depth-sensing lens. This would help in the 3D reconstructions of people, rooms, and objects. Moreover, it would be joined by two other lenses.
Other than the three cameras, there isn’t any surprise in the leaked image. The back seems like metal with the same design as the iPad Pro 11. However, another rumor suggests from Kuo suggests that the future iPad Pro will have a miniLED screen instead of an LED. This would be a huge change in Apple iPads. Moreover, an iPad Pro with miniLED would be quite thin and lightweight, compared to the current models.
The Apple analyst also states that Apple would debut the 12.9-inch iPad Pro with a miniLED screen. According to Kuo, it will also have an A14X chipset.
