Google denies training Bard using ChatGPT data.

The Information reports that Google is pressuring its DeepMind division to assist the Google Brain team in beating OpenAI with Gemini to improve its performance. The Information also alleges that Google took dataOpenAI’senAI’s ChatGPT to train Bard. However, the article said a former Google AI researcher opposed utilizing the “data.

“Bard is not trained on any data from ShareGPT or Ch” tGPT,” Google representative Chris Pappas tells The Verge.

According to The Information, Google AI developer Jacob Devlin quit Google to join its rival OpenAI after warning Google not to utilize ChatGPT data since it would viOpenAI’senAI’s terms of service and yield too similar responses. After his warnings, Google ceased utilizing the data, a person said. So maybe it eliminated that training too.

Whether Google used the data or it’s, it’s intriguing that DeepMind, which has struggled to stay autonomous from Google for years, maybe join.
