Introducing Clevon’s Autonomous Delivery Robots

Clevon, an Estonian startup, in collaboration with LastMile and the IKI supermarket chain, has developed a fleet of autonomous delivery robots known as Autonomous Robot Carriers (ARCs). These driverless robots are equipped with different-sized compartments and can navigate public roads autonomously.

Efficient and Contactless Deliveries

The primary objective of Clevon’s autonomous delivery robots is to provide efficient and contactless deliveries. Customers can place orders from the IKI supermarket store. Upon confirmation, they receive a text message containing the estimated arrival time of the robot and a unique access code to unlock the vehicle’s door. This innovative approach ensures seamless and hassle-free deliveries, enhancing convenience for customers.

Maximum Speed and Monitoring

The autonomous delivery robots are designed to operate at a maximum speed of 25 km/h (16 mph) to ensure safety and adherence to traffic regulations. Furthermore, these robots are equipped with advanced technology, including 360-degree cameras and radars, enabling them to navigate the city streets safely. Real-time remote monitoring ensures optimal performance and allows immediate intervention if necessary.
