Samsung doesn’t have a competition for foldable phones in the market and a recent report from Sam Mobile suggests that the company might be working on a new affordable foldable phone for the mass market.
The company is also introducing Galaxy Z Fold 2 next month. However, the leak suggests that the new foldable smartphone is going to have the model SM-F415, with the F indicating that it’s a foldable phone. It’s going to be a part of the Galaxy Z lineup, however, the company hasn’t specified the final product.
A recent report suggests that the foldable phone will be available in 64GB and 128GB storage configurations. The available colors are going to be blue, black, and green. It might be somewhat like the Galaxy Flip Z.

This isn’t the first time that Samsung is introducing the cheaper foldable phones into the market. The company aims to dominate the space with its range of smartphones. There are also reports that Samsung will go for less expensive specifications for this new model to bring the cost down.
The company hasn’t hinted at the exact price of the new foldable phone. The price of the Z Flip foldable is around $1380. So, we expect the price of the new foldable phone to be a bit lower than that.
Foldable phones are still in their early stages right now. However, they will be popular in a few years. Some manufacturers have tried to introduce their own foldable but haven’t succeeded. Still, the foldable smartphone is the future and they will replace the current smartphones in a few years.
However, Samsung has proved to be one step ahead of everyone and has shown a big improvement in just one generation, increasing its faith in the product and its lead.
