The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will be out of the ordinary. We were expecting that the company would release a second budget version of the Galaxy S10. Moreover, another different aspect of the phone is its camera. According to rumors, it’s going to have a macro lens, which no other Samsung phone has.
This rumor is from a WinFuture, which claims that it got the information on the specs list for the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. Most of the specs are the same as the previous claims. However, the idea of a macro lens is entirely new.
A macro lens is for taking close-up pictures of objects without having issues with quality. Only a few phones have them right now, like Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and Honor 20. It’s a lens that most devices ignore in favor of telephoto.
The Galaxy S10 Lite won’t have a zoom lens, which is a common feature in smartphones. Some budget smartphones have an ultra-wide lens, instead of a Zoom lens, which is the case in Samsung S10 Lite.
The camera setup includes a 12MP ultra-wide snapper, a 48MP main camera, and this 5MP macro lens. Initially, we thought that the 5MP camera would be a depth sensor. However, WinFuture claims that it will be a macro lens. This information could be wrong as we don’t know the source from where WinFuture got its information.
WinFuture claims that the Galaxy S10 Lite is going to feature the same Snapdragon 855 processor as the Galaxy S10. The Snapdragon 855 processor was the cutting-edge tech chip before the Snapdragon 865 came out. We are sure that Samsung S11 is going to have the Snapdragon 865 chip.

The screen is going to be a large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, which is quite impressive with high-quality. Even the Galaxy A mid-rangers have impressive screens. Thus, a quality screen is one of the main features of Samsung phones. Moreover, the leak claims that the battery is going to be a 4,500mAh, which is the biggest battery in a Galaxy S phone.
There is also a 128GB of storage space along with 8GB of RAM in the phone. All these features indicate that Samsung S10 Lite is less of a budget device and more of a decent mid-ranger. The price of the phone is going to be around $740, which backs the previous price claims about the device. This is more affordable than the Samsung S10 at its launch. However, Samsung Galaxy S10 e has lower prices.
Now, the only question that remains is that when the new Samsung phone will be launched? WinFuture claims that Samsung will launch the phone in the next few days. If it does, it would be the best Christmas gift Samsung could give to its users.
