New York Comic Con 2024 brought more than 200,000 attendees to the Javits Center from October 17 to 20. New York City Tourism + Conventions projected an economic impact of about $80 million for the city.

TV panels drove the biggest crowds, with trailers and first looks for:

Fans also saw new clips from M3GAN 2.0, Venom: The Last Dance and Karate Kid: Legends. Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Orlando Bloom and John Boyega made appearances, along with House of the Dragon cast members.
Comics meets hip-hop
Two comics panels crossed into music. Kid Cudi appeared for his comic Moon Man. Charlamagne Tha God presented ILLuminati, a hip-hop graphic novel from AWA. Marvel’s Next Big Thing and IDW Publishing’s “The Next 25 Years” panel also drew full rooms.
The show floor
More than 650 exhibitors filled the floor, including Funko, Bandai, ThrillJoy, Marvel, Penguin Random House, Scholastic, Capcom and Webtoon. Artist Alley hosted over 500 creators, including Jeff Lemire, Frank Cho, Jimmy Palmiotti, Tom Taylor and Run-DMC’s Darryl “DMC” McDaniels.
Cosplay champions
The Cosplay Central Crown Championships qualifier ran on October 19, hosted by cosplay star Yaya Han.
